The AWWA has named T. Duncan Ellison to the Water Industry Hall of Fame.

Duncan Ellison served as Executive Director of the Canadian Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) from 1994 to 2010. Prior to that he had spent 32 years in government service in both New Zealand and Canada primarily in policy development with respect to environmental and public health risk management relating to safe drinking water and wastewater.

The Water Industry Hall of Fame was established in 1970 to perpetuate the memory of those living and deceased who have made the most significant contributions to the field of public water supply.
