2016 RBC Canadian Water Attitudes Study Webinar now online

Public understanding surrounding water continues to be an issue in the water industry. The 2016 RBC Canadian Water Attitudes Study supports the Public Awareness Committee direction in working to advance the value of water and to influence through advocacy on a provincial level.

The recording and slides from the webinar on the 2016 RBC Canadian Water Attitudes Study findings are now available for download.
This is the 9th year that RBC has conducted their in depth survey of Canadians to gage their opinions on all things water.  This is part of RBC’s Blue Water Project, a 10-year, $50 million commitment to help protect water through grants to charitable organizations around the world.
Guidance and analysis are provided by their two water advisors:

  • Bob Sandford , EPCOR Chair, Water & Climate Security, United Nations University, Institute for Water, Environment & Health
  • Robert Haller, Executive Director, Canadian Water and Wastewater Association

“This data on attitudes is critical to our municipal efforts in public education,” says Robert Haller. While the full report was released in May, the highlights were presented in a live webinar on June 14th with the support of GlobeScan.  Key details were provided in an abbreviated slide show with expert commentary from Sandford and Haller.
