History in the industry and as a WCW member

I was hired by City of Brandon for level one operator in March 2010. I obtained my Class 4 Water Treatment certificate in August 2012. I joined MWWA in 2010 and was elected to the MWWA Board of Directors in 2013 as Director – Over 10,000 under 50,000. I am currently the Chair for Nominating Committee.

Typical day

My daily routine is lab work, testing and monitoring of Water Treatment facility, as well as daily data entry. I also spend time administrating changes to the Treatment process to maintain high quality water for the City of Brandon.

Job Satisfaction

I like having the responsibility in providing quality water for the City of Brandon which involves problem solving and decision-making with a great team of operators at the water plant.

The changing source water that we deal with daily.
